The terms for using Locatd. Last updated 23 July 2026.

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of Locatd, a map-based job board for retail and hospitality work in the UK. By using the site, setting up job alerts, or holding an employer account, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.

2. Using Locatd as a jobseeker

Browsing jobs and setting up email alerts is free and needs no account. Job listings come from employers who post directly and from third-party sources; we aggregate and display them but we are not the employer and are not party to any application or hiring decision. Always apply through the official link and verify details with the employer. We don’t guarantee that any listing is current, accurate, or that a role is still open.

3. Employer accounts and job posts

If you create an employer account, you’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything posted from it. You agree that the jobs and business details you submit are accurate, lawful, non-discriminatory, and that you have the right to post them. To keep the map trustworthy, we may review, edit, decline, pause or remove any listing, and suspend accounts that misuse the service. Postings may be subject to review before they go live.

4. Paid features and billing

Employers can pay for features such as subscriptions and Featured-job boosts. Current prices and what each plan includes are shown on the employers page. Payments are processed by Stripe; by subscribing you authorise the applicable recurring or one-off charges.

Subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid and one-off purchases (including boost tokens) are non-refundable. We may change our prices, giving reasonable notice for anything affecting an active subscription.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service. That includes scraping or bulk-extracting data, posting false, unlawful or misleading content, attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the site, or using it to send spam. We may restrict or end access where these terms are breached.

6. Intellectual property

The Locatd name, design and software are ours. Third-party listings and attribution (for example “Jobs by Adzuna”) remain the property of their sources and are shown under their respective terms. You keep ownership of the content you post, and grant us the licence needed to display and promote it on the platform.

7. Availability and disclaimers

We work hard to keep Locatd running, but the service is provided “as is” without warranties, and we don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Locatd is a listings platform. We are not responsible for the conduct of employers or applicants, or for the outcome of any application.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, Locatd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from listings or hiring decisions made through the platform.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these terms from time to time; significant changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notified to account holders. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, and you can stop using Locatd or close your account at any time.
